The Spring 2020 Fundraising Campaign is currently underway! Perhaps, we need the financial support of families, friends, and community partners now more than ever as we adapt to life amid COVID-19. Students are out of school due to the impact of the virus, but we want learning to continue. Schools are providing distance learning opportunities and asking students to spend time reading and applying themselves academically. This is essential in order to avoid a downward slide in progress.
Kennrod exists to support families and schools in helping students expand their learning potential. We want to have the necessary resources to be able to increase tutoring and college and career opportunities when students are able to return to school and their familiar routine. Recently, our students visited Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company (see photo). They were able to tour the facility, meet with professionals, learn about the company and its history, and make real world connections to the content that they learn in school. Donating to Kennrod today will allow us to create such experiences for students in the upcoming school year.
