Dear Kennrod Family & Friends,
I am so excited about our Spring 2019 Fundraising Campaign – which will take place from April 1 – April 30, 2019!
The campaign is one of two fundraising efforts each year that we dedicate toward helping us plan programs and activities in support of our students and parents in underserved communities. Students are able to take part in tutoring and/or college and career readiness opportunities by receiving direct tutoring services at Sylvan Learning or Kumon. They are also able to take part in college and career visits to such places as Emory University, Savannah College of Art and Design, the CNN Center, UPS Operations Facility, Georgia Power Plant Scherer, and most recently, the Clorox Manufacturing Plant. Additionally, our parents have been able to take part in workshops related to financial literacy, health and wellness, and college and career planning during the 2018-2019 school year.
It has been your generous donations, the donations of others, and grant-funding that has made it possible for us to carry out our mission and to work toward continuous improvement each year. With this in mind, I am asking that you continue to support us through your giving and that you inspire others to do so as well.
