Our First Grant!

Writer: Kelley Castlin-GacutanKelley Castlin-Gacutan

On April 20, 2018, Kennrod received its first grant from Kars4Kids!  After months of grant writing and prayers, to say that I was overjoyed to get this news is an understatement.

In many cases, the difference between students being at or above grade level is the extra academic support that they receive outside of the regular school day.  When there is little or no extra support, students often fall behind their peers.  Therefore, the more grants we are awarded, the more students we can provide tutoring services – making it possible for students to reach their full potential.

Thank you Kars4Kids for supporting our mission!
