College and Career Planning

Writer: Kelley Castlin-GacutanKelley Castlin-Gacutan

Kennrod’s Parent Workshop Series started today with a focus on College and Career Planning. This workshop was particularly impactful because it followed the visit our high school students made to the Savannah College of Art and Design (Atlanta Campus) just two weeks ago. Today, a SCAD representative spoke with parents about the importance of their student being academically prepared, as well as admissions requirements, degree programs, corporate partnerships, and more. Being able to expose our students and parents to the possibilities that are available to them is very gratifying. Perhaps, something that they saw or heard during the campus visit or during the workshop today will help them progress even further.
