Our Day at The Clorox Company

Today our high school students visited The Clorox Company, Manufacturing Plant, in Forest Park, Georgia. Students learned about the history of Clorox, various products, and so much more! Did you know that the Clorox portfolio includes Kingsford Charcoal, Burt’s Bees, and Glad items? Did you know that Clorox is a Fortune 500 Company, has 8,000 employees (worldwide), and has manufacturing in 25 countries?

Kennrod focuses on providing students with career readiness activities such as the visit today because it is important for students to gain first-hand knowledge about various career fields. Manufacturing jobs include, but are not limited to, technology, research and development, production, marketing techniques, and customer service. Our students learned about these areas as they spoke with employees and took a tour of the plant.

Thank you Clorox Team and our bus driver, Ms. Joann! You truly made the day special for us!
